Update: “All-In-One” Vapes Are Coming to the Menu

Hey friends,

So after a long period of resistance, this is happening.

Here’s the deal: personally? We’re still skeptical of “all-in-one”/disposable vapes. We’ve had our own experiences that left us feeling ripped off, and we never really knew what to do with the device once we finished the product. 

I mean they call them “disposables,” but do these things really go in the garbage?? (No.) 

Still, whether it's for their discretion or ease of use, “disposables” are our number one requested product that we do not currently carry on our menu. 

That’s not surprising to us - we know they’re popular, we just weren't sure how to reconcile such high demand with our own bad experiences, and the feeling that we don’t want to contribute to an ever-growing global climate crisis. 

But we think we figured it out. 

First, along with adding these products to our menu, we’re starting our own recycling program. Starting Friday September 26th you’ll be able to drop off any disposable/All-In-One electronic vaping device (and any reusable vape batteries) at our store in a designated recycling box. From there, we’ll take them to a drop-off center for further processing.

Next, we’re committing quarterly donations towards organizations that are tackling some of the world's most pressing environmental challenges in order to offset our carbon footprint. Like Cool Effect - a nonprofit that funds scientifically verified carbon reduction projects around the globe. Their work includes initiatives like protecting forests that capture carbon, supporting clean-burning cookstoves in rural communities, and investing in renewable energy solutions.

And finally, we’re still going to advocate that customers stick with a reusable battery for their vaping needs. Not only does it save you money in the long run, but you also typically get better control over the temperature (and thus, the experience), and can help reduce our impact on the environment. All good things, ya know?
