The terpene profile of this Sherbanger live resin may offer a grounding sense of relief paired with a gentle, sleepy calm.
β-Caryophyllene leads the profile by a wide margin, bringing a warm, peppery character found in black pepper and cloves. It is one of the few terpenes known to interact directly with the body's CB2 receptors, and it may help ease physical tension and everyday discomfort.
α-Humulene follows with an earthy, woody depth, also found in hops. It may support a sense of physical comfort, and it may also help suppress appetite.
Nerolidol brings a subtle woody-floral note found in jasmine, tea tree and lemongrass, and it could add to the calm, unhurried feel of the profile.
Linalool adds a soft, lavender-like floral character long valued in aromatherapy that may help quiet a busy mind.
α-Bisabolol contributes a delicate floral softness, traditionally found in chamomile, that could add a gentle, soothing finish.
Terpineol and fenchol add further depth. Terpineol appears in lilac and pine trees, and fenchol in basil and fennel.
Limonene, myrcene and caryophyllene oxide appear in smaller amounts. Limonene brings a touch of citrus brightness found in citrus rinds, and myrcene an earthy note also found in mangoes and hops. Caryophyllene oxide, a close relative of caryophyllene, is also found in cloves.
